Keja holds a degree in Landscape Architecture from the University of California, Berkeley. With a background in design and a focus on ecology, she brings an explorative, material-driven approach to her work, drawing inspiration from natural textures, light, and muted tones. Her design interests center on creating spaces that evoke memory and sensory experience, whether through a familiar scent, a particular wood grain, or the shape of a path.
At IDS, Keja has worked on a range of project types including custom single-family residential landscapes, childcare and school playgrounds, and nature play environments. Her work spans early concept design through all stages of design development, supporting projects through coordination, design exploration, and client engagement across multiple scales.
She serves on the committee of the American Society of Landscape Architects (ASLA), Northern California Chapter. Originally from Northern California, Keja is influenced by exterior designs that display modern, sophisticated, and unique scenes. Outside the studio, she enjoys painting sculptural artwork, hiking scenic trails, and visiting local museums.
