Devon Bruzzone

Devon joins IDS as a recent graduate of the University of Pennsylvania’s Master of Landscape Architecture program. With a background in nonprofit development and public service both in the U.S. and abroad, she is driven to create inclusive spaces that strengthen community ties while enhancing ecological function and resilience. 

Devon is passionate about using design to deepen the connection between people and the places they inhabit, fostering a greater sense of environmental stewardship. Her work is guided by a keen interest in how materiality, planting palettes, and crafted details can reveal and celebrate the story of a place.

After many years on the East Coast, Devon is excited to return to the Bay Area, where she was born and raised. She holds a degree from Bucknell University in Environmental Studies, Studio Arts, and International Relations. In her free time, she enjoys exploring local hiking trails, spending time with family and friends, traveling to far-off places, and—most recently—nurturing a newfound love for letterpress and printmaking.
